The Right Person

Tips*** Finding Love

There are things that very simple in life, but there are also situations that are not that simple... finding love is really one of the not so simple things. Below are a 2 tips on how to find the right guy. These are some of the advise I follow and I have learned along my own life journey.

1) NEVER SETTLE
God only knows how many women I see doing this on a regular basis there are many reasons as to of why we do this, it could be that you may have low self-esteem, that your heart is broken from a past relationship or you just feel like "Hey, why shouldn't I give him a chance?" DON'T think this, If you have ever heard the term "there's plenty of fish in the sea" It's true and settling will lead you down a long winding road of unhappiness.

2) Accept yourself for who YOU are.
Until you can see yourself in open light, you are hiding others from your true capability of being in a long-lasting relationship. Meaning instead of looking in the mirror and tearing yourself down say something nice about yourself. (Do you have a nice smile, style, natural beauty)? When you focus on the positive it makes it a lot easier to forget about those little pesky things that get you down about yourself.

Please note* By no means am I an expert.

Home Spa DIY

Stress is something we all go through in our lives; sometimes in abundance. Whether it’s family life, you or your loved one’s health, your home, your job, or the countless other responsibilities we just can’t seem to say no to, stress seeps into our lives and sometimes downright refuses to let go until it has taken us as far down as we think we can possibly go.
Sometimes we would like nothing more than to step into a spa and be pampered throughout the afternoon.  Considering my super busy schedule I would love to have a full-service spa day every other day but let's face it, I am not rich and can not afford to walk through their doors as often as I would like because, dammit, those services are expensive!
So if you’re like me and find yourself often fantasizing about face scrubs and milk baths, here are a 2 super easy beauty recipes you can effortlessly make at home, perhaps after a trip to the grocery store, that will eliminate your troubles, your worries and your stress–at least for the time being.

Relaxing Foot Soak
If you are like my always on your feet and in heels day in and day out, here is a great way to detox and relax.
You will need:
  • 1 cup Epsom salt
  • 1 peppermint tea bag
  • 1 chamomile tea bag
  • 1 basin of water
Directions:
Fill a basin with warm water and add the Epsom salts and tea bags. Soak feet for 30 minutes.

Old Fashioned Bubble Bath

Who doesn’t love a relaxing, soothing bubble bath? This recipe has some rather weird ingredients, but the sugar and egg whites condition skin and also add to the bubbly effect.
You will need:
  • 1/2 cup milky liquid soap or shower gel
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or honey
  • 1 egg white
Directions:
Mix together all ingredients. To use, pour the entire mixture under the running water as you draw your bath.
