Be Awesome

Do's and Dont's Of Maintaining Our Fabulous Self.

DO: BE Yourself!
This is at the very top of the list for a reason friends.  Every day, every hour, every minute you gotta be rocking your fabulous authentic , unique nature. This is the key to being a true Fabulous girl and necessary for living the fabulous life  This year make it about yourself!

DON’T: Short change your worth
I have and still am learning this, from family, friends, co-workers, business friends, and hot fabulous mom and great friends. After years of drilling into my own head the value of my work, I have set my sights on correcting my own head-space regarding my skills and unique talents. At times you may forget to be your own investor and neglect to put real value on your time, your talents, your energy, your body, even your own SOUL as you negotiate through life. Remember your worth. Don’t sell yourself short to others or activities that just aren't worth the awesomeness  that YOU are.  We are fabulous ladies remember that.

DO: Have courage to transform into yourself   While the core of you may not change much or at all, how you feel, what you want, and how you want to express yourself can and does change. Oftentimes this goes against convention or what others may think you should be. You’ve gotta get brave whenever you feel the need to change. Whether it’s making a big change to your style, growing up into your own sexy woman, or taking on a new challenge you’ve gotta let the world know YOU make the final decision for yourself every time. Not your mom, not your BFF, not your boyfriend, not your husband, not your office, not your church, not your neighborhood. YOU.

DON’T: Let yourself get stuck in a funk I happened to start the new year excited and happy with all great ideas and filled with positives, then some life situations sneaked up on me. Instead of thinking these occurrences spelled nothing but doom and heartache for me the rest of the year I thought to myself – awesome, lets get this funk out of the way now, so I can get back to making the rest of 2015 fabulous. And I am still trying and although I go through my moments frequently, I also remember, Funk happens, that’s life, just don’t let it rule over you or stop you from jumping on all the good stuff that this year has left for you.

Inside Jessie James Decker Baby Nursery

With her 2nd baby (boy) on the way this September, Mrs. Decker, has shown us her amazing baby boy, nursery.

Nursery was designed by Decker with the help of  Joss & Main's style director

“I knew I always wanted a sports-theme room. As soon as I got pregnant with him and knew it was a boy, I just felt like it fit his personality!” Decker, 27, tells PEOPLE.
“I think when people do the animal themes they are cute and all, but it just didn’t feel like this little guy. He feels like a cool sports dude already.”

Any athletic genes passed onto her son wouldn’t come as a surprise: Decker’s husband is New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker. Already parents to 16-month-old daughter Vivianne Rose, the couple are looking forward to officially being a family of four.
“I think we are most excited about all rolling around on the carpet and just playing together as a family,” shares the country singer and designer. “I can’t wait to see Vivi love on her baby brother and give him kisses.”

Although much of the nursery is a far cry from Vivianne’s room — “I won’t be making his room pink or adding tea sets,” Decker jokes — there are a few pieces that have resurfaced.
“I think a necessity is the glider,” she explains. “That comes in handy if they get sad in the middle of the night and miss you and need to be rocked back to sleep.”

And now that the nursery has been crossed off the to-do list, Decker is counting down the days until her son’s arrival — and wrapping up a few final loose ends.
“I just need to wash his baby clothes now and put them all away in his closet,” she says. “We are so excited and ready to meet this little guy. It will be an amazing addition to our loving family.”

What do you all think about Shawn, as her fiance? Do you think Kaitlyn, made the right choice? I think so.  Nick, looked devastated, as he was almost positive Kaitlyn, was going to be with him.

Here is what Shawn, said when he went down on one knee. " I fall more and more in love with you every time I see you. I see my best friend, a partner in crime. You have already made me the happiest guy in the world. I love you so much.

How cute are they. Congratulations, Kaitlyn and Shawn.

Congratulations Misty Copeland

Today our blog celebrates Misty Danielle Copeland, for her awesome achievement.

Misty Danielle Copeland is an American ballet dancer for one of the three leading classical ballet companies in the United States, American Ballet Theater.

Tuesday June 30, 2015, Copeland was promoted Principal Dancer At the American Ballet Theater, becoming the the first African-American woman to be named a principal in the 75-year history of American Ballet Theater.

Misty, was interviewed and this is what she said. “I had moments of doubting myself, and wanting to quit, because I didn’t know that there would be a future for an African-American woman to make it to this level,” Ms. Copeland said at a news conference at the Metropolitan Opera House on Tuesday afternoon. “At the same time, it made me so hungry to push through, to carry the next generation. So it’s not me up here — and I’m constantly saying that — it’s everyone that came before me that got me to this position.”

Today, we congratulated Ms. Copeland. We are proud and inspired.
