Two weeks ago, when PEOPLE asked Tony Romo what he had planned for girlfriend Jessica Simpson's birthday, he said, "It's a secret." As it turned out, Simpson's birthday surprise turned out to be a shocker: Although Romo had insisted that things between them were "going good," the Dallas Cowboys quarterback ended their year-and-a-half relationship on July 9 – the night before the singer turned 29. "She is heartbroken," says a source. "She loves Tony. But it's been difficult lately. He's busy with his career and she's getting ready to shoot her show (The Price of Beauty). They decided to part ways." But nobody would say that the pair didn't give their relationship a good shot – weathering many a storm and breakup rumors before.

What To Wear When Attending A Wedding!

With a slew of friends getting engaged and/or married, wedding season is definitely upon us!

"I love weddings in the summer.. I have one to go to this Sunday and another one July 24th..

Just as wedding ceremonies and receptions differ according to the couple's tastes and culture, there is no one right dress code for a wedding. What you wear to someone's wedding depends on a number of things:

  1. Does the invitation specify a dress code?
  2. If there's no specified dress code, what time of day are the reception and ceremony? For events happening during the day, more casual dress is acceptable.
  3. Where is it all happening? If you'll be outdoors in a park or on a beach, opt for flats or wedges instead of heels that will sink into lawns and sand.

Now, I have to say this for the benefit of the socks-with-sandals, casual-or-die crowd: Please do not wear jeans or casual garb to someone's wedding. There are so many everyday occasions where jeans are acceptable. Weddings are not everyday occasions. This is a very special day for the happy couple and for the friends and family members who love them. Show some respect for everyone involved and dress appropriately.

Afternoon wedding: Save the sequins and skin-baring numbers for the raucous bachelorette party! Daytime weddings call for something more demure.

Beach wedding: Lucky enough to be going to a destination wedding in a tropical paradise? Show off sun-kissed skin and keep cool with a short draped jersey dress in a bright hue. Flat metallic sandals make walking on sandy beaches a breeze and add glam shine, as do the pearly white polish, a moonstone cocktail ring, and moonstone earrings. Shield your eyes from the sun's rays with a straw fedora, then switch it for a white feathered headband for the evening festivities.

Formal wedding: Formal weddings and evening receptions mean calling out all the stops. A one-shoulder dress is sassy without being too revealing

Wear black or white to a wedding? Ah, the age-old question of whether it's appropriate to wear black or white to someone's wedding. I think white is definitely a no-no out of respect for the bride, and while the little black dress is always a safe bet, the LBD can be a bit stale sometimes. Why not go for a patterned dress that combines the two?

Will you be attending a wedding sometime soon, and if so, any idea what you'll be wearing?

Get Going++++++++++

Stop telling yourself why you cannot do it and start reminding yourself why you must. When you change your negative reinforcement and you have a strong enough reason why, you'll get it done.

It can be all too easy to come up with excuses. And it can be all too easy to let those excuses stop you in your tracks. This is giving up and not being willing to do the hard work necessary to achieve. Everything comes with
a price.

Yet you can also very easily let go of those excuses. Though they may sound impressive, when they are no longer valid for you.

Because now, you have chosen to move forward. As of this moment, you have reconnected with your purpose and you're clear about why you must.

Effort, as difficult as it may be, is a joy when there's a good, solid, meaningful reason behind it. On this very day, you can experience that joy if you allow yourself to connect to the end result of why you're doing what you're doing.

Get up, get going, and thoroughly enjoy the process of the achievement. Remember why you must, and get it done.

Wedding Video Songs

I am in the process of getting all my songs together, so that I can start my wedding video editing. My goal is to maybe and if time permits to have my video done before August 16th which is my 1 year anniversary... I would love to sit on my actual wedding annv. and re-live my wedding day. I have not seen any thing that was filmed nor that went on and I missed for example cocktail hour ... so this should be exciting and some what romantic, if my husband and I sit alone together to watch our special day with a bottle of wine using our actual wine glass and a small cake to cut with my wedding day cake cutter that I used.. here is a picture.

I already have a few songs in which I will post as soon as I get home. If you guys have any song suggestions e-mail them or comment me with them, I will listen to it and decide if it goes with my whole wedding story.

Well for starters my wedding song will obviously be on the video which is "Spend My Life With You" I will also take it back into my childhood and have the song "What A Feeling" from Flash dance remember that song??? well I love love that song.

In dedication to my wedding video music picks and my summer love wedding, my next post will be about Summer Weddings! Enjoy
