What You Choose

Remember. Cliché as it may be to say, it’s necessary to re-instill the thought in your head every so often. I’ve seen so many women – of all ages, young to the mature – who have always held such strong convictions about their independence and the future they wanted, and suddenly drop everything for someone they love.

It’s a bit sad to watch their individuality fade in the process; a man (or woman, whomever you prefer), is not worth letting go of everything you’ve worked so hard for. Yes, love calls for sacrifices, but unconditional compassion is not synonymous to losing your self. Your being.
